Experience a transformative week of in‑person personal styling training in London, the UK’s fashion capital. Led by industry experts, this immersive personal srtyling course teaches you the core skills required of a professional personal stylist, from client relationships and style personality to body shape, proportion, wardrobe editing, and advanced colour analysis.

The Personal Styling Advanced Diploma offers 2 recognised accredited Advanced Diplomas! Upon successful completion of training, you’ll receive 2 Advanced Diploma Certificates accredited by the London College of Style (LCS), one as a professional Personal Stylist and the other as a professional Colour Analyst both recognised by industry employers and accredited by the British Accreditation Council.
Does this course provide me with the skills and business training to run my own personal styling business?
The Advanced Diploma offers a fully comprehensive skills training across personal styling and colour analysis both to advanced level of skill, coaching techniques to utilise with your personal clients, and guided step by step business training ready to launch your own personal styling business with paying clients.
Can I start my learning immediately?
Can I start my course training immediately? LCS offers specified start dates for this course as there are live Masterclasses and live interaction with your tutors on the course with personalised feedback. Please check your start date before enrolling. You will receive access to the LCS Learning Portal, Google Classroom, and WhatsApp community group a week before the course begins.

Will my learning experience be interactive with LCS experts and fellow Personal Stylists in training?
Your course learning experience with LCS is interactive throughout. At LCS we believe in personalised, experiential group training. You’ll join us at our Central London Bloomsbury venue for a fully immersive one-week training experience in a small group (maximum of fourteen students per group). Our expert Personal Styling tutors will guide you through personal client coaching techniques, masterclasses on key topis, live wardrobe edits and personal shops with real clients, and hands-on styling techniques including outfit build.
Does this course include all personal styling skills and colour analysis skills from beginner to advanced level.
The Personal Styling Advanced Diploma course combines all personal styling and colour analysis skills from beginner to advanced level to deliver seamlessly to a range of paying clients.
What support do I get in setting up my business?
You join your group in London for access to a structured step by step mentoring programme that will guide you to business launch and profile building.! Our six-week online Start & Grow Mentoring Programme is designed specifically for personal stylists. It covers personal and business branding, marketing, networking, identity, and confidence, developing the mindset to move forwards in action. The programme includes website development, client practise case studies in Colour Analysis, Wardrobe Edit and Personal Shopping. Plus, individual mentoring with an LCS senior tutor or director to provide personalised business feedback and launch support.
What is the LCS community like?
The LCS community welcomes you to a friendly, fun, and supportive environment with direct industry connectivity. A community where you can make friendships, share your work, receive feedback, overcome challenges, join workshops and social gatherings all focused on your professional and personal growth. You’ll have weekly interactions with tutors, network with other Personal Stylists, and participate in group discussions. This is a space to ask questions, gain insights, and track your progress.
How long is my course?
Your course training includes an intensive one-week immersive experience in London, followed by a six-week mentoring programme. Start & Grow sessions typically take place on Fridays at 10:30 AM GMT/BST (London time but may be subject to alternative dates and times. These will be confirmed to you via email. Please inquire for confirmation or precise scheduling if needed). If you can’t attend the live mentoring online sessions, don’t worry—Zoom sessions are recorded if you miss them, and the WhatsApp group ensures continued interaction throughout the programme for group and tutor support.
How long do I have access to my learning materials?
You’ll have lifetime access to the LCS learning platform. We consistently update materials so you will benefit from the latest templates, downloads, and video materials.
Does the course provide a professional tool kit include a style directory, client templates including terms and conditions that I can use in my own personal styling business?
The course contains any number of valuable assets to use while you are training and through your business as a personal styling business owner. We believe in doing the hard work for you, so you can concentrate on elevating your skills, and working with a flow of fabulous personal clients.
What is the time commitment per week for study, assessments, and challenges?
During the one-week London training, your schedule will be full-time from 10 AM – 5 PM. The Online Start & Grow Zoom sessions run for approximately two hours weekly, with an additional commitment of 3-4 hours per week to complete assignments many of which are practically based. The workload may vary slightly from student to student.
Is there a final assessment on the course at the end of the first week in London?
There is a final assessment on the Friday of the first week in London on the Personal Styling Advanced Diploma. This is fully guided and supported by the tutor team. It is an exciting and fun exercise which the tutor team will share with you during your course onboarding session online. There will be plenty of time to ask questions. The onboarding date, time and link will be shared in your course welcome email.
Is there a final assessment on the online business mentoring section of the course?
The business mentoring Start & Grown section of the course is delivered online with a series of coursework that is set each week with individual feedback to progress throughout to business launch.
Will I need to find my own clients?
We provide all live personal clients for the London one week of training for you to work to real client briefs under expert guidance from the LCS team. For the online Start & Grow element of the course, we recommend working with three additional case studies/role play clients to elevate your skills. Friends and family can be great practice clients as you build your confidence in skills and approaches through the course training.
How will I know I’m making progress?
You will know that you are making progress as you’ll receive continuous tutor interaction and personalised feedback throughout your training. Your progress culminates in a final assessment day on the Friday of the first week with us in London which is fully guided and supported. You’ll receive a comprehensive evaluation with insights on how to further develop your strengths
How will I be assessed?
Formal assessment takes place on the Friday of training in London, with guidance provided in advance to help you prepare. Accredited Certification as a professional Personal Stylist is awarded on a Pass/Merit or Distinction basis, and you’ll receive personalised feedback highlighting your strengths and offering advice on how to elevate your skills further. As part of the online Start and Grow mentoring programme you’ll receive additional personalised feedback on challenges and case studies over six weeks; however, these are developmental and not formally linked to your certification outcome On completion of the mentoring Programme, you’ll also receive an accredited certification as a professional Colour Analyst.
What are the technical requirements for the course?
The technical requirements of the course are that you’ll need a laptop or tablet to access learning materials. Some sessions may require Word documents, spreadsheets, or image uploads. The course also integrates social media tools like Pinterest and uses layout software including Canva and Milanote for mood boarding. We’ll provide guidance on using these tools. Learning is accessible through Google Classroom, and our tech support team is available on weekdays for assistance.

This Advanced Diploma course equips you with all the necessary skills and deliverables to become a sought after professional Personal Stylist.
