A common theme for this season is the celebration of women today, the variety of pattern and print creates a powerful atmosphere, furthered by the mix of faux fur bringing in the classic warmth of winter along with the Pantone seasonal colours to inspire our looks and styles for this coming Autumn.

Houndstooth

Powerful silhouettes of the body is created by the effect of a woman in houndstooth – it originally was in the territory of menswear, furthering the androgynous theme for this year.

Head-to-toe houndstooth creates a fierce power through its layering and varied detail, this still style is shown in a variety of clothing pieces such as, Trousers, Skirts, Blazers and shirts allowing anyone to experiment and jump onto this year’s trend.

With print becoming a recurring autumn/winter trend, we begin to move towards Check, allowing us to mix and match colours and tones creating a bold and powerful contrast. Following on with colour, Beige, this neutral colour palette is the one to spot this autumn. With varied shades worn together a beauty in simplicity is created for a crisp and clean look. Presented through coats, jumpers and trousers a collaborative process of layering warm autumnal tones will fit perfect for the weather getting colder.

Coming back around most seasons the ‘fluffy coat’ everyone’s dream to snuggle into their perfect coat when the temperature drops. However this season it’s said to be “Go big or go home”- whowhatwear, although this was a statement for the catwalk trends a version for what the stores will be showing is oversized, furthering our warmth even more. The Faux Fur this seasons is coming through in many varieties, Duster Coats, Puffer, Capes, Leather Jackets and this list goes on..even now Handbags!
