I am Jules, “The Colour Counsellor”: a personal colour and style expert, passionate about getting people into their true colours. I put forward a new approach to looking younger, healthier and happier through colour and style analysis, achieving powerful results.
I have appeared regularly on Television; on ITV’s Lorraine Kelly Show discussing the transformational power of colours and the Queen and Kate Middleton’s colour choices; on the ChrissyB live chat show as the main guest talking about colours and body shape; on the BBC South East 6 O’clock News commenting on image in politics in the run up to the 2015 election. I have spoken on live radio in Europe, America and the UK, including Radio 4’s Today show. Often featured as the ‘go-to’ celebrity colour expert for the Sun Newspaper, the Daily Mail and the Telegraph, I have written many articles for the media. I am the author of the original Amazon Bestseller “How NOT to Wear Black” and “The Essential Guide to Mindful Dressing” and have a diploma in journalism.
As the Head of Colour at The London College of Style, I teach style students how to put colour into fashion. I colour trained John Lewis personal stylists in 2018, and throughout that year and also ran Colour & Image workshops within the Government.
I have worked with individuals, ranging from housewives to celebrities, having done colour analysis for Sky TV presenters. I also put together presentations on colour and style for charities and corporate companies such as Mastercard, Champneys, Microsoft, BT and Honor Phones, where I hosted a panel at the Royal Festive Hall in front of the UK Media. Evening colour events have included working with the iconic textile company ‘Kvadrat’ and top fashion label ‘Ridley London’. My ‘Hire or Fire’ workshops at top UK schools help sixth form students discover how to present themselves for an interview, to nail their dream job.
