Cynthia moved from Canada to the UK in 2012 to follow her dreams of career transition from a sixth form teacher to London’s fashion industry. After studying many areas of fashion including Styling, Buying & Merchandising, Journalism, TV/Radio Broadcast and Creative & Cultural Entrepreneurship, she has found her niche in industry as a Personal Stylist, Presenter, and Business Owner.
Her favourite work experience since entering the fashion industry includes three years presenting and styling on television, six years Personal Styling and Shopping at Selfridges, and reporting live from the runway during London and Paris Fashion Week for Conde Naste’s “The Glass Magazine”.
She recently has launched her own business “Conscious Closets” which focuses on a conscious and circular approach to consuming fashion without compromising one’s own personal style. Her business was shortlisted in semi-finals for the Mayor’s Entrepreneur Award 2022, and chosen to participate in the Erasmus Entrepreneurship exchange program.
A huge advocate for ‘If you can dream it, you can achieve it’, Cynthia looks forward to welcoming you into the LCS classroom to help prepare you for the next step of your fashion career journey, heading up the Personal Styling module for Fashion & Personal Styling Foundation and Advanced Diplomas in London.
