Alpa Mehta

Hello I’m Alpa and I’m a self-confessed Colour enthusiast! From an early age, my parents tell me that I was adamant about what I wanted to wear and that pink and red can be worn together! My love for colour has been fuelled by my vibrant Hindu culture and I’ve been fascinated about the meaning of colour across different cultures.

Coupled with my love for colour has been a passion for fashion and dressing for me. As a British Indian woman I have always strived to express who I am authentically from the inside out and dress in a way that truly represents who I am. At my hardest times in life colour connected me back to my core and it is this grounding that drove my inner purpose to ‘pay it forward’ and to help others and empower those around me to feel at their true best with colour and style.

I qualified at the London College of Style as a Personal Stylist and Colour Expert and set up my business ‘AM Style’ I specialise in Colour Analysis and nothing makes me happier than unleashing my clients to the magical world of their WOW shades and tints of colours that make them feel amazing and true to themselves. I have worked with leading Corporates including Lloyds Bank, BT and Cisco to illustrate the impact of colour on Personal Branding and Wellbeing through my ‘Connect with Colour’ virtual and in-person workshops. I’m a public speaker, sharing my passion for Colour at many Women in Tech events, International Womens Day and more. I’ve partnered with leading fitness expert Jessie Pavelka to introduce colour as a component to mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.

I’m honoured to be a Colour Tutor on the LCS Colour Team and to share my experience, knowledge and love of Colour with budding Style and Colour Experts.
