Studying at LCS was probably the best decision I could have made to help launch my career as a fashion stylist. The course was led by two incredible tutors who provided the best support every step of the way. I was shooting my first published editorial in my first week of studying and it really rocketed from there. LCS provided me with so many amazing opportunities and I will forever be grateful for the school.
Having studied womenswear design and becoming a fashion stylist, I was stuck between two worlds, fashion and culture. Being a Sikh male you’re held to certain expectations in the way you present yourself and this never sat comfortably with me. My styling comes out of rebellion for a stereotype that is intended to be overly masculine and conformist. Whether I’m playing with femininity or introducing new silhouettes, you can always expect my styling to have a rigid playfulness.
I am currently styling fashion editorials for a number of publications. Styling music artists including Zie Zie, EYK, Choze and Scott Vlassis. I have assisted on celebrity editorials including Paloma Faith, Kyle De Volle and Bimini Bon Boulash, I’m also styling fashion campaigns including K-Swiss.
Fashion editorials have been published by Glass magazine, Overdue, Phoenix magazine, House of Solo, Pentagon, PAP, Vanity Teen, Fienfh, Kaltblut and Streets magazine.
