Hi there,

My name is Angela and I completed the Personal Styling Diploma with LCS in February 2019. I now run a personal styling business in The Netherlands called ‘Styling by Angela’.

I can’t believe how much has happened since completing the course and to where I am now.
I am a mum of two and was ready to make a fresh start in an industry that I loved and knew could fit in with my lifestyle. When I started researching I knew LCS was the place to go to in order to get myself started in personal styling. Since qualifying I have thrown my energy into shaping my business, setting it up, getting my first clients and busily watching it grow.

LCS have supported my journey and I am grateful for the contacts and advice they have given me. I am still in touch with many people from the course and the networks continues to grow. A highlight for me was working behind the scenes at London Fashion Week, an opportunity made possible by LCS. It was hard work but a dream moment seeing high fashion come to life. The support from LCS doesn’t just stop at the end of the course, it’s nice to know they continue to be there for you.

I have recently also set up a pre-loved fashion business with a friend alongside my personal styling, this is something which I am passionate about as well and I really believe the future of fashion is in more such sustainable ways to shop. Having an LCS qualification not only gives you confidence, it also means you can shape a business for yourself and your client base however you wish, as you have all the skills to do this, it is a really flexible career with so many different routes to explore, who knows what the future holds for me now.
