Maria Sundqvist & Angela Hathway

Hi we are Angela and Maria both Personal Stylists and founders of Fashion and Repeat, a styling a preloved business located in Amsterdam.

We both qualified as personal stylists with LCS. I (Angela) completed the Personal Styling Diploma in February 2019 and Maria, who was already a busy fashion blogger in Amsterdam, studied for her LCS qualification in 2020. We both connected with our shared enthusiasm for all things fashion, style and preloved and our ethos of sustainable fashion. We wanted to share the message that clothes don’t have to be new, or the latest trend item to be fabulous. Styling unique preloved pieces can be far more interesting and less wasteful.

We started selling clothes initially within our network of friends and soon the word spread,
We believe it’s our unique partnership that makes us stand out. Our aim is to make our clients feel incredible using the clothes they already have first before we look into shopping with them. We always look at preloved clothes from our own showroom when we do a personal shop for a client as we strongly feel this is the best and most sustainable way to shop. We find many of our clients come to us for this holistic approach.

We have also recently completed the Fashion Sustainability Certificate.

We felt that this was a perfect extension and complemented our sustainable and pre-loved ethos that underpins our business. We thought we already knew a lot about sustainable fashion but we learned so much more on the course and we are enjoying sharing our expanded knowledge with our client base.
