Rachel Henderson

Hi I’m Rachel Henderson, a trained Textile Designer, Interior Artist and Author with a huge passion for colour, texture, pattern and design!

I studied Textile Design & Surface Decoration and started my career working as a Design Consultant and freelancing for several publications. Over the years I have authored and contributed to a range of popular titles sold worldwide.
I now run a successful design studio based near Edinburgh in Scotland where I produce Bespoke Furnishings and Interior Concepts for both UK based and international clients. I also regularly partner with Interior and Lifestyle Brands creating beautifully styled content for their Social Media Platforms. Some of the brands I have worked with include: Graham and Brown, Geberit, Craig & Rose Paints, Valspar, Cosatto and Oliver Bonas.

I have always had a passion for teaching and presenting. Over the years I have provided Demonstrations, Talks and Live Interviews for a range of clients including Scottish Television, the BBC, Kirstie Allsopp’s The Handmade Festival, Ideal Home Show, The International Crafting and Hobby Fair and Make it in Design. I have also taught accredited Design and Creative Business Courses in Further Education, and regularly host my own range of Workshops and Online Courses.
