Rebekah Roy is one of London’s top fashion stylists and creative consultants. She is a unique stylist due to her abilities to communicate ideas, to collaborate with different levels of the industry and a range of practitioners and to incorporate a cultural understanding of fashion into her work.
Rebekah works extensively with cutting edge fashion designers and styles catwalk shows each London Fashion Week season as well for cultural organisations such the Southbank Centre and Bath in Fashion. She’s styled commercial catwalk shows for Harrods, Royal Ascot, Bjorn Borg, Clarks and The Ford Supermodel of the World competition. She’s consulted for the brands Sarah Angold, Mimpikita, Wonderluk and Azza Fahmy as well as for larger brands such as Kate Spade and Wella.
Rebekah believes in supporting bright young talent and growing an inclusive international fashion industry. In addition to her involvement on selection panels for UK young talent platforms Fashion Scout and Graduate Fashion Week, this passion has taken her around the world working with designers, fashion weeks and international organisations, including the British Council, Lagos Fashion and Design Week, Jakarta Fashion Week, Skopje Fashion Week, Riyadh Fashion Days and Singapore Digital Fashion Week. Through mentorship, workshops, collaborative projects and lectures on topics such as branding, blogging and styling, Rebekah has brought a cross-cultural understanding to fashion in emerging fashion industries as well as back to the UK.
Rebekah continues this kind of work as a judge at the WGSN Global Fashion Awards and sitting on the Advisory Committee for The Industry London. She has given talks at prestigious venues such as the Fashion and Textile Museum, Kensington Palace, the Drapers Fashion Conference and The Barbican, and she has appeared on the popular television programmes Mary Queen of Shops and Britain’s Next Top Model.
Rebekah has been featured in numerous publications including in Drapers, Glamour, Zink Magazine and Vogue.com. As a style and cultural influencer Rebekah is well known for her blog Stylist Stuff and is the Creative Director at Candid Magazine and the Fashion Director at Disorder Magazine.
Rebekah’s styles for a variety of clients from Visa, Nintendo, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis and Virgin to celebrity clients including Kate Nash, Becca Dudley, Nero, The Feeling, Sarah Brightman and Billy Idol and top models Kate Moss, Erin O’Connor and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
