LFW Men’s – Blood Brothers SS18

First & foremost, a big thank you to London College Of Style for giving me this opportunity to attend  London Fashion Week – Men’s & also work backstage ( hello impressive CV !!!) I was super excited to attend my first show & here’s a low down on the highly impactful experience I encountered today.

The moment I reached the British Fashion Council showcase venue, I could feel the fashionable vibes & my energy rising. Incredible, unusual & impressive street style, the paparazzi clicking away & everyone related to the London fashion scene waiting to get in. I was just beginning to soak it all in.

At the entrance (London Fashion Week is celebrating it’s 5th Anniversary this year)

The fabulous designer who’s Spring Summer 2018 showcase I attended was BLOOD BROTHER.
The innovative invite for the show was a floppy disk.

Here are my favourite pieces from the show.

Bomber jacket game strong.

That belt bag though!!!

The textured coat was so dangerously sexy

Slogans continue to rule the runway

Street Style

If I had to define the collection in a few words I would say urban, cool & stylish yet utilitarian. The pieces were high on functionality, slogans, prints, textured & breathable fabrics. And then I realised why the unique floppy disk was given out as an invite. There was an uber cool section inspired by the computer age which took me back to my childhood days. Check out the slogans on these outfits.

The most unusual piece in the collection

I also happened to bump into the sweet lady who designed the cool hats for this collection, Jade Johnsey.

I instantly fell in love with his style & turns out Howey Don is a fellow fashion blogger specialising in menswear.
