Festive Wardrobe – The Festive Guide Edition

Fashionistas, the holiday season is upon us, and that means more pre Christmas drinks, family get together, events and parties etc. So if you’re looking for some inspiration this winter festive, look no further, I’m here to help. You’re going to need some amazing outfits to get through the season.

The most important looks during the social calendars are work Christmas parties, Christmas Day and New Year.

So, I have scouted for the best shops on the high street and online I have also picked out some of my favourite looks to make you the next Don Draper. Whether it’s the Christmas party, meeting with friends and family, Christmas day or the New Year’s Eve extravaganza, everything you need is right here and best of all there is a look to suit everyone.

Work Christmas Party

Office parties are a staple of the holiday season, but what should you wear to them?  Occasion that mixes party with business (after all, you’re mingling with your bosses and coworkers), keep your outfit appropriate; think office wear turned up a notch. Just remember you’ll need to be center of attention as this is the last memorable look people will remember all year around. For an It’s important to keep your look clean, stylish and work appropriate.

I would highly recommend to dress smart casual, with a navy or red tweed blazer as it’s smart, distinctive and on trend.  Then team it up with a subtle statement shirt, a pair of dark jeans, a brown belt, scarf and a pair of brogues to give you that fresh, clean look.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day outfits to me are like a birthday outfit. It needs to be a showstopper, and statement look. You don’t always have to play it safe, it’s Christmas – so be bold! There is a lot to be said for the perfect Christmas day outfit but I would highly recommend a little of shimmer statement around the holidays.  This is the time of year where you can let your love of all things shiny come out.

My perfect look would be to dress to impress with a black velvet blazer paired with a light grey trouser, tailored or slim cut shirt and freshly polished dress shoes an Instant suave.

New Years Bang

Let’s start 2016 in style. Think David Beckham and James Bond combined together. This is a bold look; I call it the showstopper Tuxedo look. Stand out in style by wearing a classic tuxedo, either all black or a cream tux with black trousers.

Combining the sharp and modern look with a bright and bow tie will get all the attention. A tuxedo sends the message that you’re wearing something specifically for this memorable occasion and you would never look out of place. Here are my favourite looks for the night depending on the mood.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
